Written by

With a long lineup of biopics set to hit the Bollywood box-office, here comes the third biopic on an Indian cricketer and this time around it is none other than Kapil Dev. If reports are to be believed then, Ranveer Singh has been roped in to play the role of former Indian cricketer in a Kabir Khan directorial feature. The movie will reportedly be backed by Phantom films, co-owned by filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena. The film will focus on India's 1983 Cricket World Cup win under Dev's captainship when the Men in Blue defeated West Indies in the final to clinch their first-ever World Cup trophy.

Much has been written to feed into the speculation surrounding Salman Khan’s next film with choreographer-director Remo D’Souza. Earlier it was reported that the superstar will be acting in a dance-based film, and later it was rumoured that Salman would like to work first on ‘Race 3’, which would also be helmed by Remo.

After rumours were rife about Akshay Kumar returning on the small screen for upcoming comedy reality show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, latest reports suggest that ‘Maatr’ actress Raveena Tandon too may join the judges’ panel for the same show. According to reports, Raveena has been approached to be a part of this stand-up comedy show. If things fall in place, the actress will be seen on the small screen along with her former co-star, Akshay. Raveena and Akshay made for one of the most popular jodis of the 90s. The duo has worked on several films together, including runaway hits like ‘Mohra’ and ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’.

Kareena Kapoor on kids and motherhood

Written by

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is known to be more of a trendsetter, than a follower in Bollywood. The star, who is pregnant with her first child, is not only beating the benchmark and continuing her film career while being pregnant, she also keeping herself in top shape, ready to hit the big screen after delivering her baby. However, when it comes to naming the child, the actress and hubby Saif Ali Khan are hopping on board the portmanteau (a linguistic blend of words, where two words or names are joint to create a new word) bandwagon and are considering naming their child ‘Saifeena’. In a recent chat show, the actress joked, “He finds it really funny. He says we’ll name our child Saifeena.” Over the past year, Bollywood star couples got creative while naming their children, Rani and Aditya Chopra named their daughter Adira, and actor Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira named their daughters Misha.

Priyanka Chopra to present Emmy with Tom Hiddleston?

Written by

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra and Hollywood actor Tom Hiddleston will reportedly present at the 2016 Emmy Awards together. The two stars were pictured sharing a laugh, outside the Microsoft Theater, after a rehearsal. While Priyanka was seen wearing an off shoulder white top and blue denims, Tom sported a black t-shirt and jeans. The confirmation of sorts comes from another photo that Priyanka shared of herself on stage with her presenting partner. The blurry picture shows her 'partner' wearing all-black ensemble, much like what the 'Thor' star was dressed in at the rehearsal. "Rehersals #Emmyswithpc keep guessing... Btw the blur is the point!" the 33-year-old 'Quantico' actress captioned the photo, hinting that the blur was intentional.

Watch out bad guys, there is a new superhero in town! He not only has the looks to kill, but also the grooves to thrill. Two-film-old Tiger Shroff is all set to hit theatre screens this month with his first ever superhero film titled 'A Flying Jatt'. Joining him on his crime fighting mission is actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who will be seen playing his love interest in the film. The superhero film directed by Remo D'Souza will see the Tiger play the part of a superhero with God-given superhuman powers and flying abilities. The two stars and their director sat down for a live chat with us and spoke about their upcoming film, their time on the film sets and hinted at a possible sequel.

She reminds me of a Betty-meets-Veronica kinda gal. An amazing mix of sugar, spice and all that's bright. She preens, she pouts, she sulks like any other 20-something. And yet, she carries off her stardom like blush on her cheeks, and with the grace of a lovely lady. Her onscreen roles show maturity way ahead of her years, and in the upcoming 'Udta Punjab', her stark, de-glam avatar sets the stage for another shocker of a performance. She treats failures as heartbreaks and is unfazed while talking about her jealous streak. That's Alia for you. Well, she's not the Candy Crush of a zillion boys for nothing. Read on...Alia's tales and trepidations — in her own words.
