David Cameron has said it is time for the UK "to move forward" after Scotland voted against independence. The PM said he was "delighted" by the result, which gave the UK a chance to change "for the better". He said there had to be a "fair and balanced" settlement with English MPs deciding on laws applying to England. But defeated SNP leader Alex Salmond warned against any delay in shifting powers to Scotland as he announced his decision to step down. "For me as leader, my time is nearly done," he said. "For Scotland, the campaign continues and the dream shall never die." Scotland's First Minister explained his decision to quit just hours after Scotland voted decisively to stay in the United Kingdom by 2,001,926 votes to 1,617,989 - about 55% to 45%. The vote is the culmination of a two-year campaign. Talks will now begin on devolving more powers to Scotland.

The 2015 Mazda MX-5 was unveiled today - updating a modern classic with the fourth generation of the back-to-basics roadster. The new MX-5 is due in UK showrooms from summer 2015, priced around £19,000. The Mazda MX-5 Mk4 has adopted many of the accents of the company’s latest Kodo design language, but given a twist. Just look at the rear lamps, reminiscent of a Bangle-era BMW Z4’s. It’s an MX-5, alright, but rebooted with modern Mazda touches to survive well into the next quarter century.

Amanda Fuller, who plays Brittany Murphy in ‘The Brittany Murphy Story’, said that the intention of the movie was to honor the late actress’ memory. The 30-year-old actress said that the movie was more about trying to capture her essence that she had and shed light to that struggle she had as she went further into the business, News agency reported. The movie would show how the late ‘Clueless’ actress changed quite a bit physically over her career, losing weight and going blonde and she can relate to it, she further added. Fuller also mentioned that she learned a lot about Murphy she didn’t know while filming the movie like she noted her obsession with high heels “because she was so small.”
